How much does it cost?

It’s Free!!! There are no setup costs or annual fees. You only pay a % of the green fees where golfers have produced the card. This means there is no down side to the business.

How much do the golfers pay?

Its Free to them as well !!! Many schemes in the past have tried to charge the golfer money to be part of. We want to make it as easy as possible for golfers to join the scheme and give them as few reasons as possible why they shouldn't. They can only benefit from being a card holder.

How do I download Email Addresses?

From your control panel you will be able to produce a report regarding all the golfers registered or played within the defined date range. This information can then be exported into a CSV file ready for use in an email application.

Can I produce address labels?

Yes! The reports can all be exported as a CSV file. We do hold the address information for the golfers and this can be exported to a CSV file for use in Excel of Word.

How do I know the information is still up to date?

The golfers have there own control panel where they can see their own history, update their contact details, view any offers etc. When they update their contact details this information is automatically updated for all the clubs that hold their information.

What happens if no one plays the course?

Then it costs you nothing. That is the advantage of this scheme, there is no initial outlay. You only pay a % of the green fees that you charge card holding players. If no one produces the card then it costs you nothing.

Where does Imagination get its money?

Every time you swipe a golfers card and select the green fee that they are paying, Imagination will take 20% of that green fee. The idea is that 15% of it is then available to golfers as a discount once they have received over 100.00 points and the other 5% is for Imagination to finance and promote the scheme.

Does it only work when I charge them retail price?

No. Due to the way it works you can charge the golfers your standard pricing. It just means that the less they pay for their golf the more they have to play before they are entitled to a discount.

How does it work with other discount vouchers?

The idea of this scheme is that it is designed to work along side other promotional schemes. The point of the Imagination golf scheme is that it makes it easy for clubs to capture contact details of golfers and it encourages loyalty to the club or groups of clubs.

What happens if loads of people come in with vouchers?

When a golfer is entitled to a discount on their round of golf. The club charges the golfer the green fees less any discounts. Imagination will then refund the voucher cost to the clubs less the 20% commission charge.

Does the golfers points last forever?

No. The idea of the scheme is that it encourages golfers to play more regularly and play at the participating clubs. Every time a golfer plays golf they are building up their points on the card however if they do not receive over 100.00 points in a year they will loose the benefit of any green fees spent over 12 months ago. They will receive emails making them aware that the balance on their card is about to be reduced.

What happens if the Golfer never pays more than £100.00 per year?

Due to the fact that the golfer looses the benefit of any points awarded if not used within 12 months. Imagination will pay back 50% of any unused commission voucher if the golfer has not used any of that voucher against a future round of golf.

How do I know how much money I have taken from the scheme?

The clubs control panel is designed to give the club lots of information regarding how much they have received and how many golfers they have signed up from the scheme. The initial club login page gives you a summary including number of golfers, rounds and income received via the scheme.

Does the system send promotional emails automatically?

No. We do not include any email software however there is an optional email module that is available to clubs. The Imagination Golf database can be synchronised into it and we can use the reports to generate a list of names that can then be used to produce HTML style emails and sent to them. Why would I try to sign up golfers who then get benefit at other clubs?

You cannot stop golfers playing at other golf clubs. The hope is that they enjoy your course and want to come back. Imagination golf is a way to make it financially appealing for them to come back again and again.
Can I offer any incentives for people to come to my club?
Yes, there is a built in filter system that allows you to create special offers. You will be able to offer extra points incentives that can be automatically applied by date range, day of the week and time of the day. You can also specify that only players that you have signed up or all players are eligible for bonus points. You can have multiple filters running at the same time.

How many clubs do you expect to become part of it?

There does not need to be many clubs for the scheme to be successful however we are looking to sign up over 100 clubs within the first year. We already have 15 and we haven't launched it yet.

Are they going to be in one particular area?

No! We do see this as working well across the whole country. If people are traveling and wanting to play golf they are more likely to look for a club that is in the scheme so that they can either gain points on their card or use any discount vouchers which Imagination will then refund. Due to our own location in the south of England we do see that as the first area that will be targeted.

Can the card be used for anything other than golf?

Not at the moment. We have spoken to a couple of people in the restaurant business and also hotel & leisure. They have all expressed an interest to see the system once we have it set up and we will look to see if we can set up any mutual benefit business.

Imagination Golf is a free points based loyalty card for use at a number of golf clubs around the U.K. It allows golfers to earn points just by playing golf at there local particiapting club. A £15.00 discount voucher is then available for every 100 points earnt.
